My design journey

Hi there

I grew up on Gabriola Island, which is a small Gulf Island nestled on the West Coast of Canada. My inspiration comes from being immersed in nature, where I spent much of my childhood scaling rocky beaches and wandering through old growth forests. These small island communities nurture creative minds, and therefore I have a strong community focused drive that has been deeply instilled in me.

After completing a two year intensive Diploma of Design Formation at Langara College I began work as a designer. My role as a designer and creative has given me the opportunity to collaborate on fast-paced, deadline-oriented projects independently and with teams of designers, including the Exhibits Design team at Science World. For over five years I have focused on bringing the visions of my clients to life, while exploring innovative design solutions. I am self-motivated, hard-working, and enthusiastic about my job as a designer and would love to work on creative projects with you.
